Still trying to juggle being more active here with the C3 side of my life, and well… Real life haha!
For starters… I FINALLY finished the dress I started ages ago for a wedding Hubs and I were attending. Finished it day of no less 🫣 But it turned out glorious!
Pattern testing is still underway for the Alpine Dreams top I made to create this dress. Watch for updates on release (Coming Very Soon!)

I also managed to finish the 1st of two custom cocoon cardigans I have on my list to do and I LOVE IT! The colors are just 😍
I don’t directly have a pattern for how I do these, but I can share that the initial square on the back is made using Hooked on Sunshine’s Phoenix pattern and then the sleeves/rest of the cardi is simply the Granny Stitch.
I’ve begun work on the next cardi I need to complete to finish the order I received.
Just look at those colors! Pretty sure by the end of this one, it’ll be my favorite of the several cocoon cardigans I’ve now made at this point.
I am changing this one up a little bit and will be using a different base pattern for the beginning square. So watch for updates to see how it turns out!
Here’s just a little look into my personal life ❤️ So my birthday was the 23rd, and after a few years of being kicked out of my office (really my daughter just wanted her bedroom back) I haven’t really had a nice workspace anymore.
I did try making my basement work out, but I honestly hate being down there. It’s to quiet and lighting is just awful.
So after many requests to make a little space for myself. Hubs finally caved (on the promise it doesn’t become a massive chaos mess 😅) and helped me get the shelves and stuff to create this area for my birthday!!
I LOVE IT!
